Biography

David L. Tolin is a Principal at Cokinos | Young in Houston, Texas. David focuses his practice on the transactional aspects of construction law and routinely assists clients in preparing and negotiating all types of contracts and related project documents. He represents contracting parties across the spectrum of construction projects, from large-scale industrial and EPC projects to commercial and residential construction, and his clients include owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals. David also counsels clients on business and legal issues that arise during construction and helps clients vigorously assert and protect their mechanic’s lien and bond rights. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and presentations across the state of Texas, and his writings concerning contract and lien law have been featured in numerous trade and industry publications.
